From Houston on I-10
From
IH-10, take the Luling exit.
Travel through Luling and follow the highway signs for
HWY. 80 to San Marcos. (There will be several lights and
turns.)
Stay
on 80 until you reach San Marcos-it will turn into Hopkins
Road-travel under IH-35 and
continue on the same road through town.
You will cross the San Marcos River and pass the
courthouse and square. After
the courthouse, stay in the right hand lane through two
stoplights, then, at the third, turn right onto RR 12 (Moore
Street). There
will be a Shipley’s donuts on the left and a highway sign on
the right that says “Wimberley.”
Stay
on RR 12 approx. 15 miles-all the way into Wimberley.
After you pass a Jak’s Beverage Mart and Sac n Pac
grocery, veer right at the blinking yellow light--this is
still RR 12.
Follow
12 down the hill and through the town Square--as soon as you
cross Cypress Creek bridge, take an immediate right onto Mill
Race Lane (there will be a blinking yellow pedestrian crossing
light on your left and our sign on your right).
Mill Race Lane will be the first and only right turn
between the Creek and the stoplight.
Follow Mill Race about 1/4 mile until you reach the seventh
driveway on your right where you will see signs for parking.
From Austin/San Antonio/New Braunfels on
I-35
Simply follow the directions above starting
with the Wimberley/RR 12 exit off I-35
From Austin on Highway 290
At the light in
Dripping Springs, take a left onto RR 12 and follow it to
Wimberley. Go
through the light in Wimberley and take an immediate left onto
Mill Race Lane. This
will be the first and only left turn between the Creek and the
stoplight. Follow
Mill Race about 1/4 mile until you reach the seventh
driveway on your right where you will see signs for parking.
From San Antonio or Dallas on Highway 281
Turn onto RR 32
outside of Blanco. Take
RR 32 (a.k.a. The Devil’s Backbone) to the junction with RR
12 and take a left onto RR 12 (if you pass the Jak’s Beer
Barn, you’ve gone too far).
Follow Houston directions starting at the blinking
yellow light in paragraph 3.
